KI Sawyer’s newly renovated wellness and recreation hub sits along the Silver-Lead Creek Greenway and offers full ADA accessibility. The park features a lakeside pavilion, restrooms with a bottle-filling station, pickleball and basketball courts, beach volleyball, permanent cornhole platforms, and a vibrant playground. It’s the perfect spot for a family picnic or community gathering.
The Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Upper Peninsula’s aviation heritage—military and civilian alike—while educating the public on the vital role airpower plays in our nation’s defense and economy. Our Silver Wings Community Center is available to rent at an affordable rate for events of all kinds, from conferences and celebrations to reunions and banquets. We’re proud to offer the space free of charge to local charities."
